Certifications: BLS Certification required

Description: The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist residents with their activities of daily living as outlined in the plan of care. Responsibilities include ensuring residents' hygiene, grooming, dressing, incontinence care, and toileting needs are met. Safety of the residents' environment will be maintained according to policies and procedures. This includes answering call lights and alarms promptly and ensuring cleanliness of the unit. Nutritional needs of residents will be met, including meal delivery and feeding assistance. Rehabilitative needs such as range of motion and proper body alignment will be addressed as needed. Residents' rights and concerns should be reported to supervisory staff in a timely manner. Changes in residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial status must be identified and reported promptly. Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may occur with required tasks. All documentation must be completed per established protocol.
