Electro-Mechanical Assembler

The primary purpose of the Electrical / Mechanical Assembler is to assemble electrical and sheet metal sub-assemblies using a variety of special tools and fixtures to move products to the next level of production.

Job Responsibilities

• Build all components to customer specifications.
• Work to include, assembly of electrical components, assembly of sheet metal parts, soldering glass into cases, and induction brazing.
• Review electricals drawings for capability of quoting new work.
• Others as needed

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience working in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience working with epoxy and or adhesives for assemblies a plus.
• Experience working with glass for cockpit displays a plus.
• Must have two years experience assembling electrical components.
• Must have two years soldering experience.
• Induction brazing experience a plus.
• Must have a minimum of one year of mechanical assembly.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Must be able to take directions, work independently, or within a production cell.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read and speak fluent English.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to perform visual inspections of product to corrected vision of 20-20.
• Able to lift 40Lbs. on a regular basis.
• Able to stand or sit for long periods.
• Must be able to wear PPE as required.
• Must work overtime as required.
