Associate Director, IO Forecasting

Associate Director leading end-to-end forecasting strategy for an immuno-oncology brand at AstraZeneca. The role combines statistical modeling, scenario planning, and cross-functional collaboration to inform US commercial decisions, supply planning, and launches while advancing AI-enabled forecasting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead US forecasting and business planning for immuno-oncology products, consolidating portfolio forecasts to inform strategy and resource allocation
• Build and refine product-specific short- and long-term forecast models grounded in patient and market dynamics
• Identify and pressure-test volume and value drivers; quantify risks, opportunities, and scenarios for decision-making
• Partner across commercial teams to align assumptions and create authoritative forecasts for all planning cycles
• Incorporate AI analytical tools into forecasting workflows and support development of AI forecasting platform

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or operations research)
• 4+ years forecasting experience building models and guiding business decisions; 2+ years in biopharmaceutical industry
• Deep expertise in pharmaceutical forecast model development and full forecasting process optimization
• Proficiency with pharma data sources (APLD, IQVIA, claims) and epidemiological data (Kantar, DRG)
• Experience with primary market research, advanced analytics, and competitive intelligence
• Proven work in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical manufacturing or consulting

Compensation: $195,468–$293,203 base
