Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for customers calling our dealership. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding customer service, efficiently direct inquiries, and support the sales and service departments with a variety of administrative duties. This position plays a vital role in creating a positive first impression and final impression on our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

· Greet customers and visitors in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.

· Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line phone system.

· Assist customers by directing them to the appropriate sales, service, parts, or management personnel.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.

· Assist with filing, data entry, scanning, and other administrative tasks.

· Maintain customer records and accurately enter information into dealership management systems.

· Support the sales and service teams with customer communications and clerical duties.

· Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic concerns or refer them to the appropriate department.

· Perform other duties as assigned by dealership management.

Requirements:

 

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Professional appearance and positive attitude.

· Proficient with basic computer applications.

· Ability to learn dealership management software and phone systems.

· Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a professional dealership environment. It requires interaction with customers, vendors, and employees throughout the day. Evening and Saturday availability may be required.
