If you're passionate about making a difference in this critical field, we invite you to explore a career with Carollo.ResponsibilitiesPayroll processing duties including Expatriate shadow payrollTrack/Maintain records for taxable employee benefits related to long-term project assignmentsEnsure cross-border tax compliance for ExPat/InPat employeesTrack/Maintain records for Resident/Non-Resident Alien, VISA employeesMulti-jurisdictional, state, unemployment, workers compensation tax compliance, including responding to notices and correspondence from tax authoritiesPrevailing wage compliance, including calculating employee pay adjustments, tracking assignments and filing reports with state authoritiesPrepare various payroll reports and perform payroll auditsResolve payroll adjustments and problemsPrepare payroll-related account reconciliationsAssist Payroll Manager with special projectsConform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructionsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent3 to 5 years of related to accounting and payroll procedures5-8 years' experience multi-state payroll experience3-5 years' experience processing payroll for Canadian employees3-5 years' experience working with cross-border ExPat/InPat payroll tax matters/shadow payrollTeam player and have the ability to work independentlyKnowledge of US Federal and State tax laws pertaining to the payroll functionKnowledge of Canada Federal and Provincial tax laws pertaining to the payroll functionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to maintain confidential informationDetail oriented and organized including strong time management skillsStrong Excel (intermediate to advanced) skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degreePrevious experience with ADP WorkforceNow and/or ADP TeamPayCompensation Range$27.00 to $29.00 per hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
