Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Bolingbrook, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. - Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and/or vendors, assist with visitor processing, and report policy violations, damaged equipment, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support loss prevention and facility operations by observing package flow, checking exterior doors and gates, and reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues noticed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
