Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish meaningful, trust-based relationships with clients to encourage open communication and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, developing individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique circumstances and needs of each patient.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and couples, utilizing evidence-based practices to address issues such as relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring disorders.

• Provide expertise through referrals to additional services or specialists when requirements extend beyond the scope of therapy.

• Document client interactions and treatment plans meticulously, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and a thorough understanding of mental health disorders.

• Solid therapeutic and counseling skills with a strong ability to motivate clients towards positive change.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with proven teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff.

• Specialized training in addiction counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
