Commercial Driver - (Front Load)Liberty Waste Solutions is looking for a dedicated Commercial Driver - (Front Load) to join our team and deliver exceptional waste disposal and recycling services in the Winston Salem market area!As a member of our team, your role:As a Commercial Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of waste and recyclables from residential neighborhoods. Transport the contents to a facility for processing. You must be committed to safety, attention to detail, and take pride in the job you will perform.Responsibilities include:Operating a residential rear end loader truck along assigned routes to customers and disposal sitesUsing electronic devices to log/report information to the dispatch team, or a supervisorCommunicating with dispatch personnelReporting any delays or breakdowns to the dispatch/management teamReporting all container related issues and needs to dispatch and managementKeeping truck and associated equipment, clean, safe and in good working orderPerforming truck inspections (pre and post trip)Safely collecting residential waste/recyclable materials from designated locationsSafely operating all vehicle controls for lifting and loadingFollowing all applicable traffic laws and regulationsEnsuring that all required personal protective equipment (PPE) is wornPerforming other job-related duties as assignedMinimum requirements we look for:Valid Class "B" Commercial Driver's License (CDL)-2 years with a clean driving record (preferred)A CDL driver with waste management industry is a plusKnowledge of local geography and road networks, although not requiredAn understanding of safety regulations and proceduresAbility to operate a waste collection vehicle and its controlsGood communicationGreat customer service skillsPhysical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and operating equipmentPerform in all weather conditions to meet/exceed customer expectationsMust be able to safely lift and move 50lbs or more at a time as you assist the helper assigned to the truckAble to sit in truck cab for extended periods of time.
