Facilities Management Specialist

Mott MacDonald is looking for a driven and organized individual to join our team and support the management and delivery of complex facility construction projects. Responsibilities Manage and oversee multiple facility construction projects Oversee project progress and prepare final estimates throughout the project lifecycle Review project schedules and monitor progress across assigned projects Receive general instructions and exercise initiative and independent judgment to resolve work-related challenges Develop and maintain project progress reports, including tracking committed costs against approved budgets and delivering financial and earned value reporting in accordance with contract and business requirements Implement, monitor, and administer change control processes, including updates to project scope, budgets, contracts, and schedules Capture and track data to ensure accurate and reliable information related to plans, costs, schedules, contracts, pricing, and invoicing is consistently reported Review, distribute, and track invoices and progress payments for Mott MacDonald, subconsultants, and third parties Support Project Managers in the administration of subconsultant and third-party contracts Assist clients in developing standards, procedures, and policy positions to support their goals and objectives Travel to project sites to conduct oversight inspections Operate company vehicle and computer as required Document field changes and maintain accurate as-built plans Work in both office and outdoor environments, including in varying weather conditions depending on project needs Qualifications Zero (0) to four (4) years of experience in facility / construction management High school diploma or equivalent Must have a valid driver's license A genuine interest in project support Strong interpersonal skills Highly organized and a self-starter Effective in both verbal and written communication Confident usage of Microsoft Office and Excel Benefits & Reward At Mott MacDonald, our employees have a stake and a voice in our business, providing them with a direct connection to our success through personal and group performance bonuses.
