Quick Facts: Location: Children s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404 Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: 11/16/2026 Shift: Monday Friday, 07:00 AM 03:30 PM Hours/Week: 35 hours/week Employment Type: Locum/Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Ohio Medical License, DEA, CSR, BLS/ACLS, State Medical Board Certification (if applicable) Experience: Prior pediatric anesthesiology experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: Discussed upon application (competitive hourly rate) Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements (mileage, rental car, hotel, flights) 24/7 support from dedicated team at VHS What You ll Do: Provide pediatric anesthesia coverage in a hospital-based OR setting for neonatal to adult patients Supervise CRNAs in a team-based care model during procedures Manage approximately 50-60 surgical cases daily, supporting a high-volume trauma center Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, surgeons, and APPs Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout anesthesia administration Maintain compliance with hospital policies and anesthesia standards What You Need: Valid Ohio Medical License and DEA registration Certification in BLS and ACLS Minimum 2 years of pediatric anesthesiology experience preferred Ability to supervise CRNAs and work within a fast-paced hospital environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment: This assignment at a prestigious Level 1 Trauma Center in Dayton involves providing anesthesia services for diverse pediatric cases in a busy surgical environment.
