HR Generalist | Full Time | Day

In-office position Summary Under the direction of the CHRO, the Human Resources Generalist is a key member of the HR team and works closely with the HR Business Partners (HRBPs) to deliver health system HR priorities and services to achieve business objectives while ensuring a high degree of consistency throughout the health system. They provide assistance and problem‑solving services to the HRBP’s and business customers and effectively use technology to analyze data and create reports as needed. The HR Generalist participates in projects and mid/large scale initiatives in support of business customers and the HR department. Education Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or compensating years of experience. Certification, Registration & Licensure SHRM Certification to be obtained within one year of hire into role. Experience Minimum of 2-4 years working in an HR role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems like Workday is strongly desired. Healthcare experience is preferred. Responsibilities Collaborate with HRBP's and HR team on short and long-term projects in support of organizational needs. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment law and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to ensure compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources, talent management, and employment law. Handles Employee relations inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Partner with key stakeholders within HR to create/run reports, conduct analysis, identify key trends and identify actionable items. Suggest interventions and solutions to improve team processes, effectiveness or efficiencies. Performs other duties as assigned. Concord Hospital is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
