About the Position

Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience; Fetal Monitoring Experience License: Active nursing license Certifications: BLS (AHA) - current AWHONN certification - current NRP certification - current Must-Have: Proficient experience from patient check-in to pre/post care to discharge Ability to manage high-risk pregnancy situations Description: Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems and needs. Establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. The unit can manage high-risk pregnancy management, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, vaginal birth after cesarean section, prenatal testing, amniocentesis, and childbirth education classes. Permanent address must be included in submission file. RTO must be included in submission file and should be limited to 5 days.
