Job Title: Corporate Accountant (Full-Cycle & General Ledger)

Location: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Pay Rate: $30.00 – $33.00 / hour | Contract-to-Hire | Mon–Fri

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger & Month-End Close: Prepare and post journal entries (payroll, accruals, commissions, allocations), perform balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.

• Asset & Cash Management: Oversee fixed and intangible asset accounting (additions, disposals, depreciation schedules); handle bank reconciliations and corporate credit cards.

• Reporting & Compliance: Build P&L schedules, support internal management packages, prepare documentation for audits, and assist with state/local tax compliance filings.

• Operations Support: Perform hands-on financial analysis and support full-cycle AP/AR workflows as needed to maintain reporting integrity.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required.

• Experience: 3+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience with a skill set of GAAP and ASC standards.

• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, financial modeling) and hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
