Role Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented People Operations Specialist with a strong focus on Payroll and Benefits. In this role, you will ensure our people are paid accurately and on time, while managing the perks that make their lives better. You will also act as a key technical contributor for testing new workflows in our systems (HRIS tool: Hibob and our internal Pigment App). What You’ll Do Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll with a third‑party provider, ensuring 100% accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely distribution. Benefits Administration: Manage and audit employee benefits programs (health insurance, pensions such as 401K, etc.), acting as the main point of contact for providers and employees. Systems & Workflows: Serve as a power user for Hibob and Pigment App. Responsible for workflow testing, ensuring data flows seamlessly between platforms, and identifying automation opportunities to implement in collaboration with your manager. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain precise payroll records and generate reports for the finance team to assist with budget forecasting. Your scope will primarily focus on North America (USA & Canada), the UK and the management of EOR providers. This is a non‑exhaustive list; your scope may expand as we scale. Who You Are Minimum 3 years of experience in USA & Canada payroll Proven experience in payroll and benefits administration within the defined scope. Rigorous with excellent attention to detail. Strong prioritization skills and solution‑oriented mindset. Strong analytical skills and a test‑and‑learn mindset for HR software. High level of discretion and sensitivity toward confidential data. Proven agility and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast‑growing international environment. Experience working with a third‑party payroll provider. International payroll experience is a major asset.
