If you like to make things happen and are passionate about what you do, you’re going to want to be here.Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityPosition Summary:The Specialty Gluer (Bobst Domino Operator) is responsible for machine setup tasks, pre-breaking corrugated sheets, loading stacks into the feeder and general machine adjustments such as fine tuning the machine for proper fold and bond. The main result is to make folded and joined cartons ready to be bundled or master boxed.Essential Functions: Changed from Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and proceduresDemonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelinesProgram or call up order on computer and fine tune automated set upFeed die cut carton blanks, bring up stock and keep machine running (feeder full)Check quality of product, and for correct registerMonitor incoming stock and product after being folded and glued to ensure it meets and maintains Menasha’s and our customer’s quality standardsPlay an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding work areaRepair or assist maintenance in the repair of the machine as necessaryDirect crew membersStack down die cut blanks from 72” inches highUnderstand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirementsPerform other duties as assigned by management/supervisorsPerformance Measures and OutcomesAdherence to safety policies and proceduresQuality of workProduction goalsEducation/CertificationLevel Required: NoneLevel Desired: NoneDescription: High school diploma or equivalentWork ExperienceOperator experience in the corrugated industry 3-5 years.Additional Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSafety sensitive position – ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe mannerAbility to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the businessAbility to work on a rotating shift as neededAbility to effectively work in teamsAbility to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and peopleAbility to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of rolesAbility to read a tape measure/rulerGood mathematical skillsGood communication skillsEssentials to the Position:This is a 2nd shift position - Core Hours are 2:15pm to 10:45pm, 5 days/week.This position may be required to work overtime.The wage range for this position is $21-$24.00 per hour.
