Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for ER patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Collect and analyze relevant data, identify care issues, and contribute to clinical diagnoses and care planning
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans; adjust interventions based on patient progress
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other disciplines; supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and patient education for safe transitions
- Provide health information and education to patients, families, and treatment teams; document care accurately in the medical record

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of California (state of practice) required
- BSN degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of recent nursing experience in acute/ER settings
- Licenses/ Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS required; CPI/TEAM or TEAM‑A required; NIH Stroke Scale required
- Epic experience required (Epic EMR proficiency)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital ER environment on a travel assignment
