Job Title: Inventory Specialist

1st shift - $20/hr

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team in the kitting area of our warehouse. This role involves managing and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records using various computer systems and equipment and also has to have a forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on a computer, utilizing systems such as MAMM, Supermarket, and other web-based programs to track inventory.
• Operate material movement equipment like standup forklifts and electric carts.
• Print out inventory reports and conduct audits to ensure the physical inventory matches system records.
• Conduct physical counts of inventory as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Locate missing inventory parts that are not accurately reflected in the system.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in data entry and ability to navigate various tracking systems.
• Experience with inventory tracking and control in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Comfort with operating standup forklifts and electric carts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and SAP systems.
• At least 2 years of work experience in a similar environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and proprietary systems like MAMM.
• Knowledge as a 4Q Auditor or in supply chain planning is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working at heights and with physical requirements like bending and lifting.

Work Environment

This role offers multiple shifts: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am. Expect a workweek of 50+ hours with overtime opportunities, including voluntary Sundays and mandatory Saturdays. Training includes two weeks of classroom instruction followed by on-the-job training. Safety gear such as steel-toed shoes, bump caps, high-visibility vests, and safety glasses are required.

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, IL.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Decatur,IL.
