Job Description

As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory within a warehouse. Your primary focus will be ensuring that physical inventory matches system records, using various computer systems to track and manage inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer systems such as SAP to track inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Perform physical inventory counts to ensure system accuracy.
• Locate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Print and audit inventory reports generated through the computer systems.
• Operate material movement equipment including standup forklifts and electric carts.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and own the inventory counts and records.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inventory tracking and data entry within web-based and database systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook.
• Comfortability with operating standup forklifts and other vehicles in warehouse settings.
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• High attention to detail and strong attendance record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience working with SAP and related systems.
• Experience as an Auditor, in supply chain planning, or as an Inventory Analyst.
• Training and experience in forklift operation.

Work Environment

Currently hiring for 1st shift. Training involves two weeks of classroom-based learning, with a focus on systems and forklift operation. Safety attire includes steel toed shoes, work pants, bump cap, high-visibility vest, and safety glasses.

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, IL.

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Decatur,IL.
