Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Senior Accountant. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
- Support cash-related accounting activities and transaction processing
- Research discrepancies and investigate outstanding items
- Manage intercompany transactions and related reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and support reporting requirements
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
- 4+ years of Senior Accountant experience
- Strong journal entry and reconciliation experience
- Intercompany accounting experience
- Experience working with large volumes of financial data
- Experience in a multi-entity environment
- Exposure to cash accounting activities
- Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot yables and VLOOKUP's
- Experience using large ERP systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
