HR Advisor

The Growth Company’s (GC) Corporation Services team have an exciting new opportunity for a HR Advisor to provide operational HR support, advice and guidance to managers across the business on a range of employee relations and change management issues. Please note that interviews for this role will be held in person in Manchester on Monday 20 July. Key Responsibilities Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employment law, HR policies, procedures, and best practice across a range of employee relations matters. Support organisational change activities, including restructures, redeployment, redundancy, and TUPE processes. Coach and develop managers on key people management topics, including performance, capability, absence management, and conflict resolution. Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across the business, delivering professional and effective HR solutions. Maintain accurate HR records, produce reports, and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR services. Identify risks, challenge where appropriate, and provide practical recommendations to support effective decision-making. Work collaboratively within the HR team, sharing knowledge and contributing to team objectives. Promote and comply with Health and Safety policies and undertake additional duties relevant to the role as required. About You You are CIPD qualified, working towards qualification, or have equivalent relevant HR experience. You have at least three years' recent experience in a broad HR Advisor or generalist role. You have up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. You are professional, credible, and confident when dealing with colleagues at all levels. You are solution-focused and able to work independently whilst contributing positively to a team environment. You are adaptable, resilient, and able to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Skills Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong planning, organisational, and administrative skills. Ability to build positive working relationships and influence stakeholders effectively. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgements. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
