RETENTION SPECIALIST (TRiO) MSC Range 4; Full-time/Exempt; 40 hours per week; 12 months per year Position is contingent on grant funding. Currently grant funded through 08/31/2030. Projected Recruitment Timeline: Anticipated Application Screening Period: September 23-29, 2026 Tentative First Interview Dates: October 7-9, 2026 (Zoom) Tentative Second Interview Dates: October 15-16, 2026 (In Person) Anticipated Start Date: December 1, 2026 The Retention Specialist for the TRiO Program will coordinate and manage retention efforts to enhance student persistence, academic progress, and degree completion through personalized coaching, workshops, and referrals to resources. Using the College's Early Alert Program and other resources, they will provide timely support to TRiO students facing academic challenges to prevent probation and dismissal. They will also offer one-on-one coaching and guidance, helping students navigate academic, personal, and career goals, while also tracking their progress and providing follow-up.
