Company: The Agents Companies Location: Indian Trail, NC (On-Site) Employment Type: Part-Time, Flexible Schedule Hours: Up to 30 hours per week Pay: $16–$18 per hour , based on experience About the Role The Agents Companies is growing and looking for an Entry-Level Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and finance team at our corporate office in Indian Trail, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone who is early in their accounting career, currently pursuing a degree, or looking to gain hands‑on accounting experience in a professional environment. We offer flexibility with scheduling, with a maximum of 30 hours per week . You’ll work alongside our accounting team and gain practical experience with day-to-day accounting functions, financial records, inventory, and QuickBooks. Key Responsibilities Enter and categorize credit card transactions in QuickBooks Input inventory information and assist with reconciling inventory records Record and reconcile bank deposits Assist with account reconciliations and general accounting tasks Help maintain accurate and organized financial records Assist the accounting team with projects, documentation, and other tasks as needed Qualifications Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is helpful, but not required Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus; training can be provided Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets, and computer systems Dependable, organized, and willing to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Schedule This is a part-time, on-site position with a flexible schedule of up to 30 hours per week .
