Job Title: OB High Risk Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5×8 hours | 40 hours/week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
Pay Rate: $82–$85/hr
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year High-Risk OB/GYN Ultrasound experience
- Graduate of an appropriate Ultrasound Technologist training program
- RDMS certification through ARDMS required
- High-Risk OB/GYN ultrasound experience required
- Epic EMR and PACS experience required
- BLS preferred
- Spanish bilingual preferred
- Strong patient communication skills
Key Skills:
- First trimester ultrasound
- Nuchal translucency
- Dating sonogram
- Fetal anatomy surveillance
- Fetal biophysical profile
- Doppler studies
- Placenta evaluation
- CVS and amniocentesis ultrasound guidance
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-risk OB/GYN ultrasound examinations
- Obtain and document pertinent clinical information
- Consult with physicians regarding appropriate examinations
- Assist with CVS and amniocentesis procedures
- Operate ultrasound equipment and optimize image quality
- Monitor patients and report significant changes
- Document in Epic and PACS
- Maintain equipment and supplies
- Follow quality, safety, and infection-control standards
