The University of Iowa - Assistant Professor, U.S. Women\'s History (Tenure Track) The History department at the University of Iowa invites applications for a position in U.S. Women\'s or Gender History at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin August 2027. We welcome applications in any era or area of specialization. The successful candidate must have a record of excellence in research and scholarship; be prepared to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in U.S. Women\'s History (including general education surveys and courses tailored to their own research specialization); and be prepared to engage in the programmatic missions of the department.
