Operations Manager - Appraisal Management

Position Summary Lender's 1st Choice is a growing company. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Appraisal Management to oversee our day-to-day appraisal operations and lead our front-end operations team. This role is responsible for managing appraisal workflows ensuring deadlines are consistently met, supervising team performance, maintaining exceptional customer service, and resolving operational challenges before they impact clients. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building strong relationships with lenders, appraisers, and internal team members Primary Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for lenders, appraisers, clients, and internal staff. Lead, coach, and support front-line operations staff to achieve performance and service goals. Monitor appraisal pipelines to ensure files progress efficiently and deadlines are met. Identify and resolve issues proactively while managing escalated situations professionally. Maintain accurate status updates and documentation within the appraisal management platform. Monitor team productivity, quality, and adherence to established service levels. Develop training materials and provide ongoing coaching and support to team members. Deliver exceptional customer service through timely, professional communication. Prepare monthly client performance reports. Maintain lender "Do Not Use" (DNU) lists and internal operational records. Foster a collaborative, positive team environment. Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Perform additional duties as assigned to support company objectives. Qualifications Required Experience 2–3 years of experience managing operational workflows or pipelines. Experience within the mortgage, appraisal management, banking, or real estate industry. Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge & Skills Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Strong leadership and team development skills. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple software platforms. Comfortable working independently in a primarily remote environment. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree or higher preferred. Compensation and Benefits Salary range $50,000.00 - $68,000.00 10 days annual paid time off All recognized Federal Holidays This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-office responsibilities in Jacksonville, Florida.
