Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' emotional and psychological needs while formulating individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific circumstances.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to provide effective mental health interventions.

• Specialize in trauma-informed care, offering targeted support to clients dealing with PTSD and creating a nurturing therapeutic environment that promotes healing.
\n
• Effectively manage case loads by coordinating treatment services and referrals to other professionals, ensuring a continuum of care for clients.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of client progress in compliance with ICD-9 standards and agency regulations.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to enhance the overall quality of mental health services provided.

• Engage in child-family counseling, addressing the unique dynamics of family systems and fostering healthy relationships among family members.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at PROMIS NeoDevelopmental, you will work with a varied client population including children, couples, and families. Your caseload may involve clients experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma-related conditions. We emphasize a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each therapeutic plan is customized to the client’s background and specific challenges, ultimately fostering a supportive pathway to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.
\n
• A current and unrestricted California licensing or certification in a relevant clinical domain is mandatory.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a clinical role, with a focus on therapy for children, couples, or families.
\n
• Proven ability to remain calm and effective during crisis situations, employing sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
\n
• Flexibility in dealing with a broad range of client issues, showcasing a deep understanding of mental health disorders and familial conflicts.
\n
• Thorough knowledge of ethical standards, confidentiality measures, and HIPAA compliance to protect patient information.

Preferred Experience\n

• A Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is preferred.

• Additional experience in specialized areas such as trauma therapy or family systems therapy will be an advantage.
\n
• Experience working with diverse populations and a variety of presenting problems.
\n
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital care methodologies is desirable, given the remote work structure.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $90,000.00 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, PROMIS Neurodevelopmental offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
