Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for a full-time, on-site position in Pleasant Grove, UT. The role involves managing personal injury claims from intake through settlement, negotiating with insurance carriers, and assisting clients during challenging times. The position offers exposure to litigation and trial practice. Duties Manage a caseload of personal injury matters through the pre-litigation process. Evaluate liability, damages, and settlement value. Draft demand packages and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers. Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status and strategy. Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents as needed. Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to advance client matters. Assist with litigation and trial preparation when appropriate. Requirements Active Utah Bar license. Experience drafting motions and other legal briefs. Excellent analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and deadlines. Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, work collaboratively in a team environment, and timely complete projects. Experience in personal injury or medical malpractice cases is preferred but not required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active Utah Bar license.
