Job Description:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented  Customer Service Representative to provide administrative and customer support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position plays a vital role in processing customer orders, coordinating documentation, supporting production, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the order fulfillment process.

Responsibilities:

• Enter customer purchase orders accurately into the ERP system 
• Create job folders and maintain contract review documentation 
• Update customer order information and ensure system accuracy 
• Prepare shipping documentation, proof of delivery, and customer reports 
• Assemble shop/work order packets to support production scheduling 
• Monitor customer portals and communicate updates to internal departments 
• Research and resolve customer inquiries, order discrepancies, and billing issues 
• Maintain order tracking logs, reports, and customer documentation 
• Initiate and document customer quality alerts when necessary 
• Provide general clerical support and backup telephone coverage 
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and administrative projects 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required 
• 2-5 years of customer service, clerical, or administrative experience within a manufacturing setting 
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel 
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking abilities 
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments in a manufacturing environment
