• Shift Options: 8a-4p, 1p-11p, 3p-12a, 9p-6a, and 11p-8a
• Openings: 2
• Patient Volume: Approximately 110 patients per 24 hours
• Facility Support: 24/7 anesthesia, radiology, lab, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cath lab, cardiovascular surgery, and vascular surgery support
• Credentialing: Please be prepared to provide 2-3 professional references for credentialing review

Job Requirements

• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ABEM or ABEOM certification required
• Active California medical license required
• DEA certification required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency medicine experience preferred/required
• Ability to provide strong clinical coverage in a busy emergency department
• Must be eligible for temporary privileges and able to complete credentialing requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to a broad range of adult and acute care patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Work collaboratively with emergency department nursing staff, specialists, and ancillary teams
• Manage patient flow efficiently in a fast-paced emergency medicine setting
• Coordinate care with available specialty services and admit or transfer patients as clinically appropriate
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and support a safe, patient-centered care environment
• Deliver care across varied shift times, including evenings and overnight emergency medicine shifts
