Description - What You Will Contribute

• Conduct both routine and complex clinical laboratory tests-ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology-while adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot and resolve errors, and ensure that lab instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Assist in specimen collection as necessary and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor and train new staff or students, and help maintain high-quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment while adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Commit to maintaining active certification throughout your tenure.
