Chief Purpose of this position:

The Center for Team Care(CTC) is a workforce wellness initiative within the VCU Healthsystem to deliver high value, comprehensive, and concierge likeprimary care to VCU Health employees and dependents. The CTC isseeking experienced primary care physicians who can deliver highquality, high value care with a focus on population management anduncompromising patient experience. The ideal candidate will haveexperience working in a busy primary care practice with a focus onvalue based or concierge care. The ideal candidate will haveexperience delivering care in a holistic and lifestyle groundedapproach.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Clinical | Serve as a primary care physician to a complex panel ofpatients, delivering high quality acute and episodic care, chronicdisease management, and wellness care. Candidate will also be partof an interdisciplinary team to manage the preventive needs of apopulation of patients in addition to complying with billing,documentation, credentialing, and other administrativerequirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Board certification in Internal Medicine or FamilyMedicine
• At least 3-5 years of post-residency experience managing acomplex patient panel in a busy primary care clinic.
• Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
• Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment ofrespect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty,staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or acommitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in value-based care or concierge care
• Excellent vernal and written communication skills
• Experience working on an interdisciplinary team to manage apatient population
• Experience working or supervising APPs
• Experience or interest in working with pediatrics
• Experience in lifestyle medicine

Salary Range:

Commensurate
