We are seeking a Quality Technician to support our engineering and incoming product processes by performing inspections, analyzing product quality, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for precision, and a strong understanding of quality assurance in a manufacturing or engineering setting.

Essential Functions:
• Conduct inspections on in-process components and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Utilize measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain, track and follow calibration process to ensure inspection equipment complies.
• Assist in developing and maintaining quality control documentation, including inspection procedures, test plans, and work instructions.
• Work closely with the Engineering and Production teams to identify quality issues, troubleshoot defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform root cause analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, non-conformances, and corrective actions in compliance with ISO standards and company policies.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance efforts to ensure all quality standards are met.
• Assist with training production staff on quality procedures and best practices

Job Qualifications & Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in a quality technician, quality control, or similar role within manufacturing or engineering.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems is a plus.
• Experience with data collection and analysis to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot defects and process inefficiencies.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
Starting pay is $20.00 - $22.00/hour and will vary based on experience and relevant skills/knowledge. Banish offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
