As one of the largest independently owned engineering firms in the U.S., our team of 500+ professionals operates from nine offices nationwide, bringing deep expertise and a commitment to excellence to every project.As a Billing Specialist you will be able to grow from within our team-oriented department, while being mentored and trained on in-house reporting tools. You will be responsible for daily data entry of project contract information, billing transaction processing, and project cost reporting. This position will work closely with all levels of personnel within the accounting department as well as interact with project managers and clients on a regular basis.You will:Enter & maintain project dataMaintain & update client address databaseProcess & distribute weekly/monthly project reportsCommunicate project cost information to project managersPreparation of monthly project pre-bills & final invoicing to clientsAssist in resolving client billing issuesPost journal entries to the general ledgerEssential Skills and Requirements:1-5 years accounting experienceAssociate, Bachelor or Relevant work experienceAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to meet department deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong Microsoft Excel skillsStrong Written & Verbal Communication skillsExperience using web-based systems a plusMust be able to meet the physical requirementsPhysical Requirements:May sit for extended periods of timeMust be able to use wrists for typing and filingMust be able to bend and twistOur Flexible & Hybrid Work Culture:We know that work/life integration is important to our employees.
