Senior Accountant

Base pay range $95,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr High growth, PE backed company in the Loop is hiring a senior accountant. Role Overview Own the monthly close and general ledger accounting for multiple operating entities Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, deferrals, and reconciliations under GAAP Manage cash activities including bank reconciliations and short-term cash forecasting Produce monthly financial statements and clear variance analysis for leadership Maintain balance sheet accuracy across prepaids, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany Partner with operational teams to support financial insights and decision-making Review and oversee work performed by junior or offshore accounting resources Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and automation Support audits and ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready Grow within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment with strong career upside Candidate Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong GAAP and general ledger expertise; experience in multi-entity environments preferred Advanced Excel skills with experience reviewing or managing junior/offshore accounting resources Seniority level Associate Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing #J-18808-Ljbffr
