(based on experience) Location: Winona, MN Work Setting: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite) Key Responsibilities: Handle full-cycle month-end close procedures Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial transactions Perform account reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, and other key accounts) Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger Support grant tracking, fund accounting, and other nonprofit-specific functions Collaborate with finance team and leadership to ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards Assist in audit prep and respond to inquiries as needed Qualifications: Bachelors in accounting or finance required Minimum 2 years of nonprofit accounting experience is required Must have strong understanding of debits and credits Detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively ** Please Note: We are not accepting third-party or agency submissions for this opportunity.
