Portfolio Management Associate

Overview Portfolio Management Associates provide exceptional service to our clients and support Financial Advisors (FAs) and Private Wealth Advisors (PWAs) on a daily basis. They assist with developing financial plans and investment strategies based on client goals, maintaining a client-first mindset, and delivering an exceptional client experience. This role requires an in-depth understanding of market conditions, trends, and the overall economic outlook. Responsibilities Portfolio Management & Business Development: At the direction of the FA/PWA/team, enter new or adjust existing asset allocations. Prepare and review client reports from firm-approved systems for existing or prospective clients, at the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team. Assist with research using firm-approved systems, at the request of the client and/or FA/PWA/team. Participate in existing client and/or prospective client meetings, representing the service lens, at the request of FA/PWA/team. Update clients’ estate, trust, retirement, and insurance objectives as directed by the client or FA/PWA/team. Review new client prospects developed through leads and referrals in relation to the FA/PWA/team’s client service model. execute against all clerical elements of digital and in-person marketing strategies (conferences, seminars or webinars, websites, social media, and regular email connectivity) as directed by FA/PWA/team. Provide feedback and suggest upgrades to Portfolio Management business partners on firm-approved tools and resources. Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills Education and/or Experience: 2+ years in a field relevant to the position; a four-year college degree or professional certification preferred. Licenses: Active Series 7 (GS) and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required; additional product licenses may be required. Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of financial services products (equities, bonds, options, mutual funds, annuities, insurance, managed accounts); technically proficient with new and updated platforms; detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; expert in MS Office (especially Excel) and internet applications; exceptional writing, interpersonal, and client service skills; strong time management; team player with the ability to collaborate; ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment; adaptable with the ability to multi-task; goal-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award and may participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component.
