Contract Specialist

Arrangements: Training will be 4-5 days in-office a week. Training will likely be a minimum of 30 days. Once training is completed, the workers can go to 3 days in-office. 3 must-have skills: Legal experience with terminology. Working through a CLM system. Excellent communication (written/oral). Key Responsibilities Manage contract requests, amendments, assignments, renewals, terminations, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) through the full contract lifecycle process. Review submitted contract requests for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Coordinate contract review and redlining activities among Legal, Supply Chain, business stakeholders, and counterparties. Facilitate contract negotiations by managing comments, redlines, approvals, and communications with internal and external parties. Maintain accurate contract records, supplier information, and support documentation within the CLM system. Monitor contract status, track progress, identify bottlenecks, and escalate risks, delays, or unresolved issues. Support contract compliance activities, including supplier risk reviews, policy adherence, and required stakeholder approvals. Respond to stakeholder inquiries regarding contract status, process requirements, and contracting best practices. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred. Paralegal certification or equivalent legal operations experience required. 3–7 years of experience in commercial contracting, paralegal support, legal operations, procurement, supply chain, compliance, or contract administration. Experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, redlining, and administering commercial contracts. Knowledge of contract lifecycle management systems and electronic contract repositories; Icertis preferred. Familiarity with commercial legal terminology and contract provisions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and related business systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
