Travel Home Health Physical Therapist – Dunedin, Florida American Traveler is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist for a 20‑week travel assignment in Dunedin, FL. Assignment Overview Start date: July 27, 2026 Duration: 20 weeks Hours: 40 per week (8 hour days, Monday‑Friday) Shift: Days; 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; every third weekend required Location: Home visits across Pinellas County, FL Caseload: 6–8 visits per day Responsibilities Conduct skilled home visits for patients with cardiopulmonary, geriatric, neuro, orthopedic, and oncology conditions. Assess patients, develop and teach home exercise programs. Provide patient and family education, medication awareness, and safety/injury prevention guidance. Chart and document using BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and ACE Timesheet systems. Recognize signs of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse and report appropriately. Use and maintain home‑health equipment (crutches, gait belt, walkers, sliding boards, collars, shoulder slings, hospital bed, oxygen systems). Schedule visits and hours with the home‑care office and maintain accurate documentation. Meet COVID‑19 vaccination requirement or provide exemption; flu shot required or proof of declination. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience, with home health experience required. Current BLS certification. Valid state PT license (if applicable). Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for home visits. OASIS training preferred. Professional references: 2 recent supervisors. Additional Information Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers. Solid‑color scrubs required. 20‑week contract assignment based in Dunedin, FL. Compensation & Benefits Pay based on 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend to be determined.
