Customer Service Representative

• Receives and interprets customer orders, ensuring accurate entry into the order management system. Follows up with customers via phone or email to clarify order details as needed.
• Assists walk-in customers and their contractors or crew members at the front counter by reviewing pick-up orders, generating invoices, and processing payments.
• Coordinates with internal production and fulfillment departments to communicate order status, payment confirmation, and upcoming order volumes.
• Manages inbound and outbound freight activity, ensuring deliveries and pick-ups are directed to the correct docks and completed in a timely manner.
• Maintains the front counter supply and accessory area, keeping inventory stocked, organized, and accurately fulfilled for customer orders.
• Answers incoming calls professionally, routing or resolving inquiries efficiently and with a customer-first approach.
• Greets and assists all visitors to the front counter, providing a welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact.
• Handles incoming and outgoing mail and shipping (UPS, USPS, and similar carriers), ensuring timely processing.
• Maintains organized customer order files for accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval.
• Participates in scheduled physical inventory counts and contributes to inventory accuracy.
• Attends regular Customer Service team meetings and periodic one-on-one check-ins with the Office Manager.
• Applies strong attention to detail when reviewing orders for accuracy, both as submitted by customers and as entered by team members.
