What You'll Do As the Billing Rate Specialist, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the firm's billing rate structure and client fee agreements by: Administering and maintaining client billing rate agreements Updating client and matter rate information within the firm's financial systems Assisting with annual and ongoing billing rate reviews Supporting rate analysis, reporting, and exception tracking Reviewing and processing billing rate changes and revaluations Working closely with attorneys, billing coordinators, and finance professionals to ensure billing accuracy Responding to billing rate inquiries and providing exceptional internal customer service Assisting with process improvements and special finance projects What We're Looking For | Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in billing, accounting, finance, or legal billing Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent organizational and time management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and customer service skills Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel Preferred Qualifications Prior law firm experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with Aderant or a comparable legal financial management system $60,000-$65,000 annual salary Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term and long-term disability coverage Life insurance 401(k) with company match Stable, collaborative, and professional work environment Opportunity to grow your career with an established legal team Why You'll Love This Opportunity This position offers more than traditional billing support.
