Schedule
Monday through Friday, split shift: 8:00am-10:00am and 8:00pm-10:00pm, with flexibility for tasks between shifts. Occasional weekend and overnight availability for childcare.

Requirements
- Maintain a smoke-free and fragrance-free environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Reliable personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursement provided for work-related errands
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Up-to-date vaccinations (general, COVID, and flu)
- Ability to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) prior to hire
- Experience with reactive dogs or a background in animal behavior, dog training, or veterinary care strongly preferred
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with household management tools and digital systems

Our home includes a reactive cattle dog managing a degenerative bone condition, a sweet indoor cat, and a second working dog who will be joining our family in the near future. The ideal candidate will possess patience, consistency, and a strong understanding of animal behavior, recognizing that trust is earned over time. Equally important is supporting our school-age child, who thrives with structure, encouragement, and positive reinforcement. We embrace a parenting philosophy rooted in respect, collaboration, and thoughtful redirection, helping our child build confidence, independence, and resilience.
Privacy, discretion, and healthy boundaries are foundational to our household. As a high-trust environment, all team members are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement as part of onboarding. Experience with animal behavior, dog training, veterinary care, or reactive dogs is highly valued. Key Responsibilities
Household Organization & Maintenance
- Complete morning reset after school drop-off: tidy beds, dishes, surfaces, and high-traffic areas
- Complete evening reset with a focus on kitchen cleanup after family cooking
- Maintain and support household organization systems throughout the home
- Support seasonal decor setup and breakdown for holidays and celebrations
- Coordinate donation drop-offs
- Change air filters regularly (critical due to household allergies), as well as light bulbs, batteries, and smoke detectors as needed
- Indoor plant care
- Support collaborative packing for child travel
Family Support
- Provide occasional backup support for school pick-ups and drop-offs
- Offer light supervision and backup childcare as needed, including occasional overnight support and date nights
- Support child with enrichment activities such as art, dance, and sports outings as needed
- Bring a calm, patient, and routine-oriented energy to all child interactions
Pet Care
- Clean cat litter boxes and dog runs daily
- Build a trusting, consistent relationship with the reactive dog over time
- Provide calm, attentive care to all household pets
Inventory & Errands
- Daily mail and package pickup from PO box
- Break down and organize boxes
- Add items to household shopping list via Alexa as supplies run low
- Handle returns and occasional gift shopping on an as-needed basis
- Support putting away laundry when weekly service returns items
Vehicle Upkeep
- Schedule oil changes and routine maintenance for family vehicles
- Organize and clean family vehicles weekly
Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
- Support organizational projects as needed (toys, gear, seasonal storage)
- Assist with guest and event prep
Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
- Tech-savvy candidates with experience in calendar management, travel coordination, and event planning will be prioritized as this role has meaningful potential to grow into broader household and personal assistant support over time
