Quality Engineer 2As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues. You will support production operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Process nonconformance documentation and perform evaluations to restore product conformityReview production planning for accuracy and adequacy to ensure quality data is properly capturedConduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective ActionsWrite, issue, and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with applicable standardsPerform planning reviews to ensure inspection needs and requirements are fully addressedConduct regular 5S walkdowns to maintain clean, safe, and organized work areasSupport continuous improvement initiatives and other assigned quality-related tasksMay be required to support remotely outside of standard working hours as neededRequired Education: BachelorRequired Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related work experienceBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or universityDemonstrated experience in root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and/or issue resolution, preferably within a production or manufacturing environmentProven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional teamAbility to support remotely outside of working hours as neededPreferred Qualifications:Material Review Board ExperienceExperience working in a nonconformance management systemProficiency with SAPQuality inspection experienceSix Sigma Green/Black BeltWhat makes ULA different?
