Materials Handler

Job Title

Essential Duties:

Supply parts to Scrubs production area via mobile equipment, by hand and/or by other means.

Must be forklift qualified.

Responsible for the safe conduct and operation of Scrubs line equipment.

Able to account for all inbound material.

Responsible for all trash removal and removal of hazardous material wastes.

Flexible and adaptable to an ever changing production environment.

Able to maintain workflow by being aware of materials required days in advance.

Must maintain warehouse (finished goods, non-inventory items)

Maintain compliance with relevant FDA regulations

Able to comprehend the Kan Ban system and order raw materials.

Responsible for adherence to all housekeeping standards for this department.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

High School or GED preferred, not required.

One year related manufacturing experience preferred, but not required.

Work Environment:

Work in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a safe work place in a Just-In Time environment.

Other forklift traffic/stop signs/small areas of maneuverability.

Drive forklift with caution, and watch for pedestrians.
