SQL Business Analyst

Working remotely on a contract basis, the SQL Business Analyst will perform initial analyses on datasets, identify trends and anomalies, and translate raw data into actionable insights for stakeholders. Key responsibilities Perform initial analysis on newly available datasets using analytical tools and dashboards Create analytical views to support issue identification, trend tracking, and monitoring Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify data availability and ensure compliance with data governance standards Required qualifications Working knowledge of SQL for querying and validating datasets Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify trends and actionable insights Experience in exploratory environments with ambiguous requirements Strong prioritization skills to distinguish meaningful insights from noise
