IT Business Analyst

• Gather and define business and functional requirements for enrollment and student success systems
• Support initiatives across ERP, digital workflows, and engagement platforms
• Analyze and document current-state vs future-state processes
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered
• Help manage priorities, timelines, and resource alignment
• Support testing efforts and review of delivered solutions
• Work closely with functional teams in enrollment and student success areas

Required Skills & Experience
• 1+ years of relevant experience with Masters degree OR 2+ years of experience with a Bachelors degree - HARD REQUIREMENT
• Experience as a Business Analyst experience in a higher education environment with an emphasis on IT systems related to student data/processes/systems
o IE - financial aid, enrollment, admissions, etc.
• Experience gathering business + functional requirements
• Ability to document and improve business processes
• Experience working cross-functionally with developers, architects, and stakeholders
• Strong communication + stakeholder engagement skills
• Exposure to Ellucian Banner or similar SIS platforms


Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, ECBA
• Experience with:
o ServiceNow
o Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
o Google Docs / Teams
• Experience supporting testing / QA / solution validation
