Principal IT Consultant, Digital & Consumer Exp.

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in place of the degree.
• We require at least 10 years of experience in IT consulting, business analysis, or a closely related area.

• We lead multiple workstreams by assessing customer and operational needs, refining policies and procedures, securing cross-functional alignment, translating strategy into business requirements, allocating resources, establishing standards, tracking progress, removing barriers, and resolving highly complex issues.
• We strengthen self-leadership and team learning by seeking feedback, building collaborative relationships, communicating guidance, adapting to changing priorities, mentoring and coaching others, and fostering open dialogue.
• We lead IT consultants in developing requirements for process and system solutions across multiple business areas in partnership with stakeholders and IT functions such as solutions delivery, infrastructure, and enterprise architecture.
• We use a range of requirements-gathering methods to define business, functional, and non-functional needs across the enterprise.
• We develop and document detailed business cases that evaluate cost, benefit, ROI, and total cost of ownership for complex solution proposals.
• We guide the evolution of applications, systems, and processes toward a future state by analyzing how current processes affect enterprise operations.
• We map current-state processes against future-state designs and clarify the impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components.
• We advise executive and business leaders on integrating requirements with existing systems and business processes.
• We review and prioritize process improvement opportunities and value gaps.
• We lead solution design sessions, translating requirements into practical business solutions with IT teams.
• We recommend additional data or services needed to address key business and solution design challenges.
• We support the evaluation of third-party vendors as directed.
• We drive continuous improvement by developing, implementing, and maintaining standardized tools, templates, and processes across the enterprise.
• We recommend regional and national process improvements aligned with sustainable best practices and business goals.
