How you'll make an impact in this role

• This team works A/R for our provider charges that consist of multiple specialities.
• Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and system edits immediately to minimize payment delays and keep our billing cycle running efficiently.
• Review patient charts to draft compelling clinical appeals and requests for reconsideration, utilizing your knowledge of CPT and diagnosis (DX) codes to overturn payer denials.
• Research and interpret complex payer policies to ensure our billing practices align with shifting insurance guidelines and to prevent future denials before they happen.
• Secure prior authorizations and verify insurance coverage proactively, ensuring patients experience zero delays in receiving their scheduled medical procedures.
• Counsel patients and providers on financial responsibilities and insurance limitations, providing clear, empathetic guidance to help them navigate out-of-pocket costs with confidence.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
