We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Technician to support our Procurement Unit's administrative and operational demands. This role is essential in ensuring efficient and compliant procurement operations, allowing our team to focus on strategic initiatives.
Job Summary
The Procurement Technician will play a crucial role in supporting agency purchasing activities. Your responsibilities will include requisition processing, solicitation and contract support, contract tracking, research, reporting, and procurement card administration. You will serve as a point of coordination for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless procurement operations.
Job Duties
- Utilize spreadsheets and the Arizona Procurement Portal to support purchasing activities, supplier research, and requisition processing.
- Assist with routine purchasing activities such as approving requisitions.
- Serve as backup support to procurement staff for system-related tasks as needed.
- Provide administrative and technical support to internal stakeholders regarding the use of the state's e-procurement system and procurement processes.
- Perform administrative duties in support of Procurement staff and agency programs, including research, special projects, report preparation, and document coordination.
Requirements
- Experience working on Microsoft Teams and Google Suite.
- Purchasing or procurement experience.
Preferences
- Experience with ADOBE and Smart Sheets.
