Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, log, and maintain incoming files to meet retention schedule requirements.
• Quality-check records for compliance with mandated regulations.
• Identify records for digitization and assist with the proper destruction of paper records.
• Retrieve and track outgoing records, ensuring their return and reprocessing for quality control.
• Provide support to the Records Supervisor with special projects related to records storage and maintenance.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, typing, data entry, and operating office machines.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and bend/stand 35-45% of the time.
• One year of experience handling records and data entry.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
• Proficiency with computer skills, specifically Google Suite.

Preferences:

• Experience in organizing a high volume of records and workload management.
• Ability to work independently and maintain working relationships with co-workers and other departmental staff.
• Attention to detail and understanding of federal and state laws pertaining to record retention and HIPAA requirements.
