FLOOR CARE TECH

Position Summary:

• The Floor Care Technician, under general supervision, performs floor care stripping, refinishing and maintenance functions in addition to performing cleaning functions if required, to provide a clean, germ-free, environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Patient rooms and discharge cleaning are a priority and a floor technician may be required to perform these functions if staffing levels require.
• Innovations improve work procedures and methods and primarily result in some time and cost savings.
• The job duties are to assist indirectly in providing patient care by insuring a safe, healthful, and pleasant environment.
• Work occasionally requires internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.
• Job duties do not require contact with external contacts.

Shift:

Full-time, Days shift - (40 hrs per week)

Every other weekend required

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is desired, but not required

Salary Range: Minimum 18.06/hour - Maximum 20.87/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
